Our Story

Volver Records is an independent record store owned and operated by John, Luke and Casey. 

Our shelves are carefully curated, not just stocked. You'll find a wide range of genres and eras, with a particular depth in Japanese music — from city pop and jazz to rock and electronic. Whether you're hunting for a rare import or picking up a classic for the first time, we put real thought into every record we bring in.

The vast majority of our stock is sourced from various trips the three of us take across the world. Collections are purchased on a STRICT basis. Trade-ins always welcome for STORE CREDIT ONLY.

The Turkey Sub Connection

Volver Records is also the home of Turkey Sub.

Turkey Sub is the mascot of Volver Records. He resides in lower Manhattan in Southbridge Towers. Where he currently sits on his board.
